What is a virtual number for LinkedIn?

A virtual number for LinkedIn is a real mobile number you rent online to receive one LinkedIn verification code by SMS, without a SIM card. On VSIM you choose the country, the number appears on your order page, the code shows up there, and the order closes. If no code arrives before the timer ends, the full price returns to your balance.

Which country is best for LinkedIn verification today?

Australia has the best measured odds right now: 57% of recent orders got the code, for $1.04. In all, 17 countries have a measured LinkedIn rate, and 2 of them deliver 50% or more. Odds are refreshed every 15 minutes.

How much does a LinkedIn virtual number cost?

Today LinkedIn numbers cost from $0.06 to $1.04 across 141 countries, and half of them cost $0.41 or less. You pay only for the number that receives the code: every number that does not is refunded in full.

If failed numbers are refunded, what does a low rate cost me?

Time. Each number waits about 15 minutes for its code. A country that delivers 50% needs two tries on average; one that delivers 5% needs twenty, which can mean hours of waiting. That is why this page ranks countries by odds first and price second.

Why can I not get a LinkedIn verification code?

LinkedIn's help centre says that after the maximum number of requests you cannot receive a code, and you can ask again 24 hours after your last attempt.

What if I lose the phone used for LinkedIn two-step verification?

If you are still signed in somewhere, turn two-step verification off in Settings. If not, LinkedIn asks you to verify your identity with a photo of a government ID.

What happens if the LinkedIn code does not arrive?

The order closes when its timer ends, about 15 minutes in our tests and never more than 20, and the full price returns to your VSIM balance automatically. You can also cancel earlier yourself, as long as no SMS has arrived.

Can I keep the number for LinkedIn after the code?

No. A one-code number is released when the order closes, so a later LinkedIn code sent to it cannot reach you. If you need a number you keep, see VSIM permanent numbers, or add an email and a password to the account as soon as you are in.
